accepted file types
PDF* | Illustrator | Photoshop | InDesign**
*PDFs with .125" bleed is our preferred file type.
**Package InDesign files to embed the fonts and links/images used in the artwork.
unaccepted file types*
JPG | PNG | WordDoc | Powerpoint | Pages | Publisher | Keynote | AI-Generated Artwork (ChatGPT, Grok, etc.)
*These files are not suitable for print. Dependent on product type, artwork complexity, and production timeline – moxy can recreate your artwork for a print-ready file.
moxy's design rate is $100/hour.
file setup
moxy prints PDFs with .125" bleed

quality
Color: For most accurate color from file to print – build files with CMYK color settings.
Images: Embed all images with a resolution of at least 300dpi.
Fonts: Fonts should be no smaller than 5pt to ensure legibility when printed.
Hard proofs, or sample prints, are available upon request. moxy recommends hard proofs before large quantity orders, or artwork that requires precise color matching and/or unique layouts.
file size
The maximum print-ready PDF size moxy can print is 250mb.
You can lower file size by exporting PDFs at a lower resolution or use an online PDF compressor.

To send print-ready files for new projects – email service@moxyprinting.com
*The maximum file size we can receive via email is 25mb. Should your file size exceed this, please share a cloud-based link such as Drobpox or WeTransfer.
You can also click "upload files" from the "my account" page. For multiple files, or artwork over 250mb, upload a compressed zip file containing all artworks.
templates
moxy can provide templates to ensure your artwork size, layout, and margins are correct for print.
Find standard product templates through our print guide/resource link at top of page.
